Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco vocalist. From her teens the singer has been active in pop music and flamenco. She also explores other categories like hip-hop and Trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice in a way that was sweet with an old-fashioned taste. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. It was a top hit on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and won the Grammy. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami is her third album comprised songwriting collaborations featuring Cory Henry, James Blake and other performers. The release came in March 2022 following a appearance of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was solo in her first solo performance on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to win both of these awards.
