MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin popular music scene. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca is the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo has a musical background, both his parents and brother also play music. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar and the piano. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian His brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban instructor and as a outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed his entire life.
