Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional Boleros from the past and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, and the dramatic shows that she attends. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, then began more intense vocal training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young scholar and professional. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in the southern part of California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is passionate about performing, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
